Brendon McCutcheon
Mr. McCutcheon is currently a Consultant for Halliburton Sperry Drilling and has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. He started on the drilling side and then expanded into the service side of the industry where he has spent the past nine years as a Directional Driller. Prior to the oil and gas sector, he served with the Canadian Armed Forces. Mr. McCutcheon brings to the management team significant knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry and brings innovation and forward thinking to the team.
Doug Walker
Mr. Walker, through his company Capital West Ventures Inc., has been involved in the capital markets industry since 1993. As CFO he has provided a variety of corporate advisory activities specifically in the areas of equity financing, capital structure formation, corporate reporting and public company listing services. Mr. Walker graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors having received his ICD.D in 2008.
Peter Friesen
Mr. Friesen, was the Controller of Pathfinder Vacations Inc. He was a senior accountant at Stuart & Company from 2007 to 2011, a public practice accounting firm providing accounting and tax services to individuals and small businesses. Chief Executive Officer of Peter Friesen Accounting inc. from 2011 to 2015, a public practice accounting firm providing accounting and tax services to small businesses. Mr. Friesen has been, since 2016, Chief Executive Officer of Friesen Financial Services, a public practice accounting firm providing accounting and tax services to small businesses. He has over 30 years experience in both public and private practice.
Anwar (Andy) Sleiman
Mr. Sleiman has worked in the oil and gas sector for the past 20 years. He is currently the Product Development Manager at Master Flo Valve Inc. located in Edmonton, Alberta. He coordinates a team of engineers that bring new and innovative technologies to market. He hold’s a bachelor’s degree In Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Mr. Sleiman has extensive experience in engineering design and development, project management and contract review and is a valuable member to the management team.
Dennis A. Bourgeault
Mr. Bourgeault has over 30 years of experience in financial and accounting with private and public companies. Dennis previously was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. and was responsible for the financial and administrative operations of the company. Mr. Bourgeault also held a position of Senior Manager at KPMG from 1987-1992 with his duties that required providing timely and effective financial and accounting advice to more than 40 different organizations. Mr. Bourgeault holds a Bachelor of Commence degree from University of Alberta (1979) as well as a Chartered Accountant Designation (2004). Mr. Bourgeault is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, Financial Executives Institute and Knights of Columbus.
